I know it's not F1, but I'm currently obsessed with this man!

When you opened your eyes, you felt sadness spreading through your body. Today was the day that your boyfriend was leaving yet again. Marcus Armstrong was currently in F2 and had races all over the world. You still being in school made things hard. You couldn't travel with him as much as you would like. At first, you didn't even want to fall in love with Marcus. How could this work out? He would be away most of the time, and you would be home. But you couldn't resist him. He is just such an amazing boy - he's kind, charming, and you just like him a lot.

'Good morning,' Marcus mumbled as he wrapped his arm around your body.

'Morning.' You turned around in his grip and looked at his face.

A small smile grew on Marcus his face, and he kissed your cheek.

'How long do we have?'

'Three hours or so.'

You sighed. Three hours was way too short. You wanted him to stay. Just one more night, one more day. Saying goodbye was never easy. The only thing was that you knew he would come back. Whatever happened, he would make his way back to you.

You and Marcus had talked about it a lot in the beginning - being in a relationship and him being away a lot. You had to trust each other. There were many arguments, doubts, and tears in the beginning, but it was better now. You trusted each other more, and the doubts were gone most of the times. And the tears were still there, but it was getting better. You knew when he would come back. Luckily you had school to take your mind off it.

Marcus pulled you even closer to him. You laid against him. None of you said anything. You just laid there in silence, enjoying each others company.

There was a knock on the door before it swung open. Callum was standing in the doorway.

'Good, you're up. It was so quiet I had to check. You knew we're leaving in an hour?' Callum said as he looked at the couple cuddling in bed.

'An hour? I had I had three!' Marcus looked on his phone. According to his thoughts, he had still three hours. There were many messages from the team from last night: they would leave two hours early because they expected a lot of traffic on the way and the weather conditions weren't that great.

'Fuck,' Marcus mumbled.

'Sorry man. An hour!' Callum yelled as he left the room.

You could feel the tears burn in your eyes. Now you had to say goodbye even earlier.

'I'm going to take a quick shower,' Marcus said, and he left the bed.

You got up as well. You changed into a comfortable outfit and made your way downstairs. The suitcases from the boys were lined up and ready to be taken away. Callum was laying on the couch, clearly prepared to leave.

'Morning,' you said to him as you walked to the kitchen to make a cup of tea. There was no way you could eat right now.

'Morning.' Callum turned around and looked at you. 'You really didn't know about the earlier leave?'

'No. We felt asleep watching a movie, so Marcus didn't see the texts...' With your cup of tea you walked over to the living room and sat down. 'Will you look for him? Make sure he's okay?'

'Always. We'll be back to annoy you before you know it.'

You and Callum chatted a bit until Marcus came downstairs. He made some breakfast and sat down next to you. You watched an episode of the series you were watching and then it was time to say goodbye.

'Be safe, okay? And enjoy every single minute of it,' you said to Marcus.

'I will. You can call me whenever you want. Day or night, I don't care. And good luck with your exams next week.'

'Thanks.' You kissed Marcus before they left. You stared at the boys until they were out of sight.

You walked back to the couch and sat down. It was quiet. You didn't like it. You already missed Marcus, you hated it. You grabbed your phone and searched for a photo of you and Marcus. You put it up with the caption:

Baby, I'd be lying if I didn't say I wish you'd stay, baby. Dancing all alone...

Now, all that's left is "I miss you".
