March 8th, 2017:

As my sister had warned, the story about me being the reason for Jongin and Krystal's breakup finally made it past insider gossip. Some online celebrity website had posted an article and it had quickly been picked up by other sites and was now ravaging through Twitter. It did hurt to see people insulting me, threatening me, calling me the bad guy when I knew the truth. The truth that was hurting me too. People were also now jumping to conclusions that it was me that couldn't get over Jongin and stalked him or didn't let him be with Krystal as much as he should have been. It was honestly hurting me more than I thought it would because I had worked so hard to move on, I had and yet people were insinuating I hadn't. Obviously, the blatant sexism was also angering. Krystal had texted saying she was so sorry for everything and was trying to find out if this rumour had started on her end. It was radio silence from Jongin however. I think that twisted the knife slightly. I would have at least liked an apology, or some type of text, from him. I had somehow become the third person in their relationship without ever being involved, and it was his fault. I wanted to angrily call him, but refrained, knowing it would get me nowhere.

Today was the day we were leaving for Chile to start the world tour officially. It was early in the morning, and I was in the van to the airport with Namjoon, Taehyung, and Yoongi.

"Thanks for the cupcake," Yoongi smiled, peeling off the wrapper.

"Of course, I have to keep the tradition going," I smile before going back to look out the window. While we had sort of made up after the argument a couple of days ago, it was hard for me to let go of the feeling he wasn't over it.

"Sucks we don't get any," Taehyung pouted.

"I couldn't bring a whole cake to the airport," I counter, patting his thigh.

"It wouldn't have gotten to the airport," he chuckles.

"We're here," Sejin said, turning to us.

Sejin gets out and opens the door for us to get out as well. I was last to step out given which seat I was in. I had worn black jeans with a loose gray turtleneck I had tucked in. I had laced black boots to match with three necklaces and hoops for all my earrings. I had left my hair alone, so I ruffled it slightly to give it some much-needed volume. I also had the Kate Spade travel tote I had bought for myself which held my laptop, tablet, book, a couple of notebooks and pens, headphones, an extra pair of socks and shirt, and the other usual purse amenities. I had attached Jieun's pin to the front.

I get to the front of the sidewalk with the other members and could see reporters filming and taking pictures already. While some of the boys wore headphones, I didn't like to since I wanted to be aware of my surroundings at all times, especially in chaotic environments like the airport. I bow smiling to Iseul (new security guard) who was in a black jacket and t-shirt with 'BTS Security' written on it with her security in-ear. She bowed back, returning the faintest smile.

I start walking forward once Namjoon pushed me forward slightly to walk with him. The initial moments in the airports were always calm. Fans and media stayed in their barricaded areas, but once we were inside, it was pretty much a free for all. Iseul walked by my side as we entered. I was in between the boys with Seokjin, Namjoon, and Taehyung in front of me and the others behind. Quickly, the crowd broke from their designated areas and rushed to crowd around us. Iseul protectively placed me under her arm and fended off encroaching arms and phones. I felt so much safer knowing I had her to protect me now, though it didn't make the whole situation any less stressful.
