November 10th, 2017:

Celine had also arranged for a plane back to LA for us, so we were now sitting on the tarmac waiting for our turn to take off.

"I can get used to this," the stylist joked, leaning back in her seat, feeling the leather of the seat's armrests.

"Don't," I chuckle, "pretty sure this'll be the last time in a while. Enjoy this short trip while it lasts".

I look out the window as we finally took off.

"Love that it has Wi-Fi," Yoona said, taking out her laptop happily.

"You're a workaholic, just chill," I tell her, "Sejin doesn't need to know there was Wi-Fi".

"The faster I get this done, the sooner I get to go to bed tonight," she says, starting to type, "oh the video's out!" she exclaimed, having checked a notification from her phone.

I gasped and immediately took out my phone to see the link Sejin had sent. It was released from Celine's socials. My smile grew the more I watched. It had been well filmed. From time to time, it showed some of the audience and when it did after I'd finished my high note, the audience members really did look impressed.

"It's good, Sejin's happy," Yoona chuckled, typing on her phone.

"Let's hope it's received well from everyone else," I say, still a bit anxious.

"Oh, it will be," the camerawoman said, putting down the camera she'd been filming from, "it's gonna go viral".

She hadn't been far off, by the time we landed, the video was everywhere. All major North American and even several European and South American news outlets had talked about it. Twitter was on fire as well.

However, I didn't have time to dwell on it since as soon as we landed, we had to head to the ELLE magazine office for an interview. Yoona had taken some snacks from the plane for me to eat since I wasn't going to have time to sit down for lunch.

Thankfully the interview was rather short, and we headed to the hotel afterwards. I only had an hour of rest however because I then had to get ready for the influencer event ELLE was holding later in the evening. I was absolutely dreading it. Not only was I already worn out, the adrenalin of the performance with Celine having worn off a while ago but having to interact with people who pretended to know BTS and seem impress when they just wanted to show their fans they'd met me without demonstrating any true genuineness was always disheartening. On top of it all, I was all alone. It was like being let loose with sharks as a newborn seal pup.

"What do you think?" the stylist asked, standing back to admire her work.

I was wearing a short white dress with a deep neckline. It was matched with heeled white booties, several accessories, and a small pink handbag. We'd let my hair down after straightening it.
