November 15th, 2017:

I woke up to a text from Jeonghwa to link to a TV Show titled "iKon Idol School Trip" telling me it was "a watch I'd find interesting 😉". I clicked it intrigued. It was a variety show iKon was leading where they would head to Jeju on a "school trip", and they would meet seven Japanese female celebrities joining them on this "school trip".

I watched the first episode as I ran on the treadmill in the hotel gym during my morning workout. The show was very awkward initially, only two of the iKon members spoke Japanese well enough to converse properly with the girls and overall, with the idol culture of not mixing genders, they were all awkward with each other, except for one member: Hanbin. He was being very outgoing, using a phone translator to talk to the girls and almost being borderline obnoxious.

I was a little miffed he hadn't told me about this, but I also didn't know when they had filmed this and it could have been during our awkward "friends" period where he didn't owe me anything. I did feel bad for the girls though, while he was remaining mainly gentlemanly, it was definitely bordering on obnoxious. Maybe it was his introverted side compensating a little too hard (A/N: if you've watched the show, Hanbin is so me trying to fake being an extrovert lmao). Or maybe it was the leader in him desperately trying to make things less awkward for everyone involved by being the fool. The worst was when he offered to teach the girls Korean and then gave them a price. You could tell he was the annoying clown in high school. Either way, it still made me laugh.

I watched the second episode while I got ready in my room. In it, the girls had to pick someone to sit next to on the bus, but since one of them hadn't arrived yet, one of the members would be left to sit with one of the hosts instead. That member turned out to be Hanbin. I grinned, selfishly happy inside. When it came to the talent show they held, I don't think I'd seen Hanbin that energized ever. He was constantly jumping around and hyping everyone up. I had to admit that everyone that performed deserved the hype and he looked very hot in his casual work-out look.

It then got to a segment where the girls and iKon texted on an anonymous group chat and they had to text who they thought the most "eye-catching" person from the opposite group was. When the first girl to respond said B.I, my smile was replaced with a pout. The pout became a disbelieving frown when Hanbin stood up and proudly saluted all the cameras. Two more girls picked him. It was my turn to be a bit jealous now. When they got to the beach, I could tell he was trying to be cool and got in the water in his white shirt which got drenched and stuck to his toned body. My pout came back at the end of the episode, when the girl who had been missing the day before arrived and he fed her dried squid when she apologized for leaving him alone the night before.

I went to text him, copying the link so he knew what I was talking about.

Y/N: We've never ran into the ocean together

Y/N: And you've never fed me dried squid 😑

I was letting my slight annoyance show more to see how he would react than the fact I was actually annoyed. I honestly wasn't actually too bothered by it. I knew it was a show and he had to play his part. Knowing him, he also wanted to make sure he looked cool. But I thought it'd be fun to see his reaction to me being jealous. Especially since he hadn't brought the show up and four episodes were out already. Even though it was late in Korea, he answered ten minutes later.
