Chapter 43 - Glitter Bomb

There was an all-out war on Twitter, all around my character. Some thought that I was entitled and rude, some thought I wasn't, and some thought it wasn't my actual character, but I was just tired. Several had also pointed it was unfair to judge videos and pictures from the Blood, Sweat, and Tears comeback given what I had been going through at the time and that I might actually still be going through it, and the masses at the airport obviously made me very very uncomfortable. The airport incident had just added fuel to the fire. Most felt the fan was in the wrong, but there was a strong minority that wondered whether the security team should have been that violent and whether I should have stopped them. Several also pointed out the irony of the title of the book I had used to protect myself, The Hate U Give. The book itself had caused a minor stir given the nature of its content being slightly contentious in the United States (it's a book about race and police shootings). It was a well and proper sh*t show. I didn't trust myself to not go and read what was going on Twitter that I deleted the app entirely.

I had a V-live scheduled for this afternoon with Namjoon anyway and I knew I had to keep acting as if nothing was going on. We had planned to do a collage, so the staff had gotten a bunch of magazines, some glue, glitter, stickers, and markers.

"Hello everyone," Namjoon waved smiling once enough ARMY had entered the live.

We had been given a phone so that we could see the comments, but Namjoon had it on his left side away from me given I was on his right.

"So, we've organised an arts and crafts live," I say, showing off some of the supplies, "we make no promises of being actually good though".

"At least you're artistic, I've got nothing going for me," Namjoon laughs.

"V oppa said he wanted to join but he had another schedule," I add, "he sends his love though".

"So, what we're thinking of doing?" Namjoon asks as he flipped through one of the magazines.

"I noticed there are a couple like nature/animal magazines..." I say, picking one up, "might do a landscape-themed one".

"Aww, I was gonna do that," Namjoon says, "okay... then I might try to make like a flower, from different things, if you get me. Like use different objects to make the outline of a flower".

"Oh, that's gonna be so cool," I smile opening a magazine and starting to cut out some flowers and grass.

A couple of minutes went by as we worked in silence.

"We're so focused," I chuckle, "Oh wow, it's really coming along!"

I say surprised as I peeked at his paper.

"But what's that random orange at the top," I laugh pointing it out.

"It was an initial lack of judgment," Namjoon blushes, "but let's just pretend it's creative genius okay".
