September 12th, 2017:
We had just celebrated Namjoon's birthday with my cake and we're starting to rehearse again. I checked my phone for the time and stopped, my mouth opening slightly.
Eunwoo: Hey, I've been thinking about the night at the club a lot and I feel terrible
Eunwoo: I hope you're doing okay
What was this? Was he "sliding into my DMs" but through text?
"Y/N?" Jungkook questions, coming over to see why I hadn't joined them yet.
He bursts out laughing when he sees the texts.
"What? What?" Seokjin says curiously, coming over too to read the texts.
Soon, the phone was being passed around.
"Since when was I this popular?" I question, thinking of all the guys at the Billboard Awards, Yeogyum, Mingyu, maybe Hanbin?, and now Eunwoo, "what the hell..."
"Y/N, you've always been popular," Yoongi chuckles.
"Yeah, they've just become more direct now. People used to come to us to get your number," Jimin grins, "idiots".
"Kai didn't," I comment.
"Yeah, and then he got with you," Hoseok laughs, "people have learned that's how to do it".
"I'm not something to just be won over," I pout.
"Isn't that the definition of dating?" Namjoon laughs, patting my back.
"Are you gonna answer?" Taehyung asks, handing me my phone back.
"I mean he is a gorgeous man," I say, thinking about it, "and there's already been like fifty rumours about us..."
"Get it girl!" Jimin says happily.
I laugh, putting my phone away and stretching quickly.

I was in bed now, contemplating how to answer Eunwoo. A part of me wanted to see what was out there, but I was also aware I couldn't have a serious relationship right now. Maybe I was a one-night-stand kind of girl.
Y/N: Why do you feel bad? You were nothing but nice
Y/N: You were one of the only ones to not weird me out
Y/N: Don't worry about it, I'm doing fine, really
(A/N: I am absolutely terrible at flirting so don't come for me, it's a miracle I've ever had partners lmao. Please be nice 🫣) Eunwoo must have been up because he answered quite quickly. We spent the next ten minutes texting back and forth about the upcoming comeback and the tea in the 97 liners group.
