November 20th, 2017:
A staff for the AMAs had come to collect us to get to the limo to get to the carpet. I couldn't help but stretch and kick my legs out as if I was going into a boxing ring in nervousness as I waited for the boys to come out and organise themselves.
"Don't forget your English," Namjoon instructs as we all filed out of the trailer, "and we're not changing the lineup, even if they ask us to. Stick to what we know".
Everyone nods. Hoseok stops beside me and puts out his arm. I look at him confused, but he just looks from me to his arm intently. I pick up on what he was doing and elegantly wrap my arm around his. He smiles as we walked together to the van.
"Those are some long pointy heels," he chuckles as we walk at the back of the pack.
"They're great aren't they," I smile, looking down at them.
"As long as you don't faceplant or break your ankle," he says, tilting his head doubtfully, "you do have a history of falling at award shows".
"Not with your support," I grin, squeezing my hand on his arm.
He helps me into the van, and I was basically lying down given that was the most comfortable position for this dress. I leaned forward slightly when we took a picture to post to Twitter but reverted back to my comfort position quickly. The car ride, overall, was silent. You could sense we were all too nervous to speak.
"We're here already?" Namjoon says surprised.
"Ok, for important matters," Taehyung says, "they don't know who I am, so it'll be weird if I go out first. Namjoon hyung, or Y/N, you go first".
"Aye, no, no," Namjoon refuses.
"Are you kidding me? People love you," I retort.
"This kind of stuff scares me," Taehyung defends himself, to much laughter from all of us in disbelief.
"What's gotten into you?" Namjoon says, "it's the handsome ones that have to go out first".
"The handsome one's first? Then I'll do it," Jimin says as we had arrived for a few seconds now and we needed to head out. Following Jimin's lead, Taehyung and the rest filed out of the car.
