We were on our way to our trailer to change when we bumped into Shawn Mendes who was on his way back to the venue since he'd performed earlier.
"Hey BTS!" he smiled, waving as we met him walking towards the venue.
"Shawn Mendes!" Namjoon said loudly, arms wide open.
"Getting ready to perform?" he asked as we stopped to chat, "so excited to see it".
"Well, we loved your performance," I say smiling, "you never fail".
"Aww, you're too nice," he smiles, "I mean... I would expect it from a fellow Canadian," he grins.
I laugh.
"She does apologise a lot," Namjoon points out chuckling.
"Yeah, I'm sorry, it's just one of our traits," Shawn laughs as well, "I've been told I do too. I don't know, it's just in our DNA".
He throws a finger gun winking at the play on words with our song.
"Good one," I laugh as Seokjin shoots Shawn finger guns back.
"Well listen guys, we should... I would love to get together with you guys and do some writing and whatever, sing some stuff," he says seriously.
"Of course," Namjoon says quickly as I roughly translate for the boys.
"Yes, of course," Taehyung said excitedly.
"Please, we'll follow you on Twitter then," Namjoon says.
"Yeah, okay great," Shawn nods happily, "I think I followed you guys on Instagram yesterday or something".
"Oh, check if it's Instagram cuz we don't have an official Instagram," I interject wanting to make sure he wasn't following some random account, "we're mainly on Twitter".
"Oh, okay, I will definitely check then," he smiles a bit embarrassed chuckling, "well, I'll see you guys in a bit. Excited to see your performance".
"Yes, great meeting you," I smile bowing.
"Bye!" Namjoon waves him off.
"Thank you," Hoseok says at the same time.
"He's so handsome," Jimin says as we went back to walking to the trailer.
"Yeah, Y/N, you were hitting it off," Taehyung winks nudging me.
"I'm not interested in every guy I get along with," I roll my eyes.
