March 24th, 2017:

Timothée had texted me he would get here at 11:30 and it was 11:20. I got to the floor we had booked out and I'm met with security we had hired to keep watch on the elevators and floor. The man stands up from his chair in front of the elevators on alert when the doors open, and I step out. It was quite late so I'm sure he was suspicious of a new arrival on the floor.

"I'm Y/N, one of the BTS members," I inform him smiling, "I was with family".

"Oh, yeah. We were told," he nods, "sorry".

"No, it's fine, don't worry," I say brushing off his apology, he was just doing his job after all.

"I'm having a guest come, my cousin," I smile, "I'll wait for him here if that's okay".

"Oh, sure. Do you," he nodded again.

"So, are you the night shift?" I ask, not wanting to wait awkwardly with him for ten minutes, though I did keep my distance, still slightly paranoid he might try anything.

"Yeah, till 4am," he responds.

"Are you from New York?" I question.

"The Bronx," he says, "but I live in Brooklyn now. Where are you from? The others don't seem to speak any English".

"I'm from Canada," I answer, "I'm the only foreign member".

"Oh wow. Does it ever get lonely?" he asks, seeming genuinely intrigued.

"I mean, I'm still half Korean. My mom was a native Korean so I still grew up with the culture and all," I respond thinking about it, "I probably get more, I wouldn't necessarily say lonely, more... misunderstood because I'm the only female".

"Makes sense," he nods in understanding, "my dad is from Trinidad so I know a lot about that culture too".

"Do you ever get to go back to Trinidad?" I ask curious.

However, he doesn't get to respond as the head of security for the group, who traveled everywhere within and out of Korea with us, came around the corner looking "on". He loosened up slightly seeing it was me.

"What are you doing here?" he questions, "aren't you tired? You should go to your room".

"I'm waiting for a guest. I told Sejin oppa. He said he'd tell you guys," I explain.

"He didn't tell me that?" the head security guard says confused, "let me go speak with Sejin".
