These were only some of the headlines gracing pop culture news sights. Along with them were pictures from our late-night dinner (there was one with me not covered by Timothée), and one taken from inside the hallway at the ELLE event. There were also apparently "industry insiders" saying we had been very close at the event, not leaving each other's sides. Looking at this from an objective standpoint, I could see why people were believing it, which honestly made it even more annoying. There was a rumour going around that I'd come early just to be with him which was just a slap to the face given how much I was doing right now. This was also somewhat overshadowing the real reason I'd come early, my performance with Celine. It was still being talked about, but now my name on search engines and social media was coming up with these rumours first.

I also couldn't imagine what Hanbin was feeling like. We hadn't called yet since he was in meetings and I had schedules, but we had texted. I had told him I'd probably meet up with Timothée at some point over the trip, but other than that, I hadn't talked about it with him. We had texted, however.

Hanbin: Have you seen the stuff between you and Tim?

Y/N: Yeah...

Y/N: It was only a dinner, the one I told you about

Y/N: And he was at the ELLE event, but I didn't know he was gonna be there

Y/N: They're blowing it out of proportion

Y/N: Of course, you know nothing happened

Hanbin: I know, I trust you

Hanbin: Just a bit of a surprise by it, it's all

Hanbin: I know you didn't plan for the paparazzi, but a heads-up you were meeting with your ex would've been nice

Hanbin: But don't get too stressed by it, it'll blow over

Y/N: I'm sorry you're having to go through this

Y/N: Love you

I was surprised by his relatively chill reaction. I could sense he was a little annoyed, but trying very hard to be supportive. I wanted to call him, but he'd told me was busy most of the day and I was already on the way to meet with Halsey.

I also knew it wasn't going to blow over soon, however. Timothée and I were both doing promotions, the perfect atmosphere to be asked about it over and over. I was dreading it. However, thankfully most of today was dedicated to being with Halsey so no news or interviews.
