July 3rd, 2017:
Twenty-five minutes later, and several more jokes cracked to lighten the mood, there was a knock on the door.
"There's a lady by the name of Areum telling us she knows one of you," a hostess peeked in unsure.
"Oh yes! Let her in!" Hwasa said clapping her hands.
We all stood up out of excitement, honestly I was now feeling nervous myself. Areum walked in looking skeptical. She stops in her tracks two steps in. The door shuts behind her and she looked absolutely dumbfounded. Her mouth was open stunned, and her eyes were darting from Hwasa, to Eunbi, to SinB, to Jennie, to Jeonghwa, to me repeatedly.
"Hey," Heeyoung walked around the table to hug her and give her a quick kiss, though Areum seemed to barely register her.
"Hi, Areum, I'm Hyejin, nice to meet you," Hwasa decides to break the ice and introduce herself first.
"Yes... um, you're Hwasa," she said, taking her hands still in shock, "are you real?"
"Yes, I am very much real," Hwasa laughs slightly.
"Yeah, um, well Areum-ah, actually, well these are the people I've been texting and calling," Heeyoung explains, "so see, I'm not cheating on you".
"Here, come sit," I say, offering her the empty seat next to me.
"Y/N of BTS just spoke to me..." she whispered, looking at me as if I wasn't real, "what the hell is happening... Are you really the BTS member?"
"I am, and it's great meeting you," I chuckle, "I've heard great things".
Heeyoung switched seats with Sinb so she could be next to her girlfriend.
"You know about me? What?..." she said, her eyes still wide, "Heeyoung-ah what the hell is going on?"
"So, I was classmates with Y/N, and, well, first met her at a fan sign actually... and then we got quite close cuz I helped her with her homework and stuff. And then she introduced me to the girls... and... yeah, so here we are," Heeyoung said blushing.
"We also got close cuz Heeyoung's also just a great friend... and I needed one," I add selfishly, not wanting people to think I had just been using her.
"This is so wild. I can't believe this... what is going on," Areum said looking at Heeyoung as if wanting Heeyoung to tell her it was a joke, "so you're like close... with idols".
"I'd say so, yeah," Jennie nodded, looking at everyone who nodded as well, "pretty close friends, almost the closest".
"Oh my gosh," Areum sighs still In shock, putting her head in her hands for a few seconds, "talk of a secret Heeyoung".
"I'm sorry," she says apologetically, "I just wanted to be sure, you know..."
