Chapter 20- Family Vibes

March 25th, 2017:

"Sejin hyung told me Tim left like forty-five minutes after he arrived last night," Namjoon says, coming to sit next to me in the lounge we were guided to before we would go for a round of interviews with American media.

"Glad to know I don't even get privacy within the group," I roll my eyes.

"I asked cuz I heard Sejin hyung talking to security late last night," Namjoon explains, "I wasn't expecting it that's why I asked him what was going on. Thought Tim was going to stay the night with how you two were looking at each other yesterday, honestly".

"Yeah..." I sigh, thinking of the heated kiss, "we had a very constructive conversation. He honestly helped me a lot..."

I look straight ahead at the frosted door leading out to the main filming area. He had helped me a lot. I had to start realising that this was just the new me, and I was still a good, beautiful person regardless of how all past events had affected me. I was still worthy and needed to realise that. It had been a really good and comfortable conversation. One that I could only have really had with him I think.

"I really missed him," I say quietly, looking back at Namjoon who smiled sadly, "I don't think I realised it until last night".

"You guys were special, that's for sure," Namjoon says comfortingly, patting my thigh, "do you guys still text though?"

"We didn't, but we decided last night we can again," I answer, "but I don't know if I can... we all know how it ended with Jongin oppa".

"Don't compare the two," Namjoon frowned, "Jongin... he was... Tim is a different man. He's much more, I don't know, he's a bit more considerate, and the distance will obviously make it different too. As friends or partners, you two deserve each other. You're good for each other".

I let out a small chuckle.

"You're so extra," I chuckle.

"I'm being serious," he smiles, shaking his head, "your breakup was a sad result of a buildup of a lot of bad events and consequences. You were both, especially you, stressed and going through major life changes. And you're young. You deserved better, really. But I'm glad he's still been able to help you and will continue in the future".

"Well, it is what it is," I sigh, trying to smile, "I have to start moving on. Really, I do. I need to start living my life again, with or without the trauma consequences... and Timothée".

Namjoon smiles and brings me into a hug.

"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to say that," he says in my ear, "you're an amazing human being".

I smile, enjoying the hug.

We had all sat down in movie chairs on platforms so we were all clearly visible. Taehyung, Jungkook, and Seokjin were sitting in the top row. Yoongi, Namjoon, and I on the second row, and Hoseok and Jimin were in front of us. Namjoon and I had been given microphones given we were the English speakers.
