Star Watching

"Psst Y/N....Y/N?" Grayson whispered as he shook you lightly

You groaned and turned around to see your boyfriend looking at you with loving eyes

"What time is it?" you asked groaning as you rubbed your eyes

"About one a.m." he said as he kissed your temple and got up to put on a hoodie

"Grayson, sweetie, I love you, I really do, but what are you doing waking me up at such an ungodly hour" you asked as you snuggled back into the bed only to have Grayson pull down the covers and put a hoodie on you

"I want to take you somewhere special" he said as he got the keys to his vehicle and put them in his pocket

"...could you carry me then?" you asked with a pout that Grayson returned with a small chuckle and a smile as he picked you up from the bed by your thighs and carried you out

"You're the best" you whispered into his ear and kissed his cheek, making him blush

Once you took the the road, you had realized you had no idea where you were going or how far away it was, luckily it was only a half hour drive

You both got out the vehicle and walked to a field, only then you realized Grayson had brought a blanket for you both to lay on

Grayson set the blanket down and sat down, bring you down to sit in between his legs as he hugged you from behind

You snuggled into him, accepting the warmth his body was giving off, laying your head on his shoulder and him peppering kisses along your neck

"What are we doing here Gray?" you asked quietly

"Well, in about fifteen minutes we're going to be able to see a meteor shower in the sky, we wouldn't really have been able to see him at home, so this clear field was the best option"

You both stayed quiet after that, enjoying each others presence and waiting to see the meteor shower in the dark sky full of stars

About twenty minutes later you saw a shooting star, "Grayson look! Did you see that? Oh wait, make a wish, make a wish!" you said excitedly as you closed your eyes making a wish of your own

Grayson chuckled quietly at your excitement and made a wish of his own

"Did you make a wish? Grayson asked as you turned around to face him

You nodded your head rapidly with a wide grin on your face making Grayson smile and cup your face with his warm hands, leaning in to kiss you deeply and passionately

You ran your fingers through his hair as he let go of your face and pulled you into him holding your waist

You both parted to breathe as you put your forehead against his with your eyes closed and smiled

Grayson hugged and laid down with you on top of him, making you laugh as you tried to get out of his grip, you stopped pulling and looked down at him looking at you already

"I love you Y/N" he whispered

"I love you too Gray" you whispered as you pecked his nose and laid down on him, feeling the beat of his heart against your person

At that moment Grayson knew that his wish had already come true
