LUCY PEVENSIE stared at the pouring rain outside of Professor Diggory's manor. She had hoped the previous night that it would be a nice weather for them all to play in but she was wrong. Peter and Susan were sat on the comfy red couch as they played a game of making Peter guess where the word came from. Peter wasn't enjoying it as much as Susan had hoped and was more jealous of Edmund as he carved something into the bottom of one of the chairs in the room.

"Gas-tro-vas-cu-lar" Susan said to Peter as she tried to get him to play. "Come on Peter, Gas-tro-vas-cu-lar."

"Is it Latin?" Peter asked as his eyes were slightly closing due to him being bored.

"Yes"

"Is it Latin for worst game ever invented?" Edmund said with a smirk which caused Susan give him a glare that could kill and slammed her book shut.

"We could play hide and seek." Lucy suggested

"But were already having so much fun." Peter said sarcastically which earned another glare off Susan.

"Come on Peter please. Pretty please." Lucy said as she did her famous puppy eyes to try and guilt trip Peter into playing hide and seek, which worked making him start counting.

"What!" Edmund shouted not very happy with the game he was made to play.

As Peter was counting the three other Pevensie children were running around the house searching for places to hide. Susan came across a dark, wooden box in a hallway. So she check behind her to see if anyone was coming and quickly hid inside of it.

Edmund and Lucy were running quickly next to each other trying to get head of each other. Lucy was currently ahead and tried to hide behind long curtains that were in a hallway but Edmund pushed her out of the way and hid behind the curtains

"I was here first!" Edmund said which earned a scoff from Lucy as began to run again looking for a spot to hide.

Lucy found some little stairs leading to two rooms as she ran up to them. She tried to open one of the doors but it wouldn't move. So she ran to over door and opened it and saw a tall cloth covering something. Lucy felt herself become attracted to find out what was behind the cloth. It was so quiet that all she could hear was the rain splattering against the windowsill and a fly buzz around the room. She slowly made her way up to the mysterious cloth and pulled it down to see a brown wardrobe. It looked handmade and felt like it had a special meaning to it. She then heard Peter's counting begin again and it was coming to an end. So she quickly went inside the wardrobe and shut the door behind her.

Once the door was completely shut she started to walked backwards through the old fur coats to try and get to the back of the wardrobe so Peter wouldn't find her quickly. She pricked her hand on something sharp making her quite startled.

She slowly turned around thinking that there was a chip in the back of the wardrobe making her get a splinter but she was even more shocked when she was met by a forest. She stepped out of the wardrobe and entered the forest.

She saw tall trees cover in snow and felt the snow moved under her feet. Snowflakes fell on her hand making her look up at the sky. Lucy saw a snowy path and decided to walk down it. Everything was covered in snow and it was the most beautiful scenery Lucy had ever seen. The snow reminded Lucy of winter and she had always found comfort in winter because of it being the Christmas season.

She still walked down the path until she came across a lamppost. The fire inside of the lamppost danced around making Lucy feel enchanted by it. But then she heard something rumbled in the trees making her look around quite scared. It kept running around until it came out in front of Lucy making them both scream. Making her hide behind the lamppost. The creature also hid behind a tree as it had dropped his parcel on the floor. He had ,what would appear to be, goat legs but a human face as well as some horns. He had a bright red scarf tightly around his neck so it wouldn't fall off.

Lucy felt bad that she had scared him so she went forward and picked up his parcel. He tried to protest but words wouldn't come out of his mouth as he moved out from behind the tree

"Where you hiding from me?" Lucy asked giving him back his parcel as she was confused as too why he would hide from her.

"N-no" He stuttered as he picked up his bottle which had dropped on the floor. Lucy couldn't help but stare at his hooves because she had never seen a human with hooves before. "I-I didn't want to scare you."

"If you don't mind me asking, what are you?" Lucy asked not wanting to offend him

"Why, I'm a Faun! And you must be some kind of beardless dwarf?" The faun asked and it had seemed quite uncertain to what Lucy was.

"I'm not a dwarf! I'm a girl!" Lucy said making the fauns smile drop. "And actually I'm the tallest in my class."

"You mean to say that your a Daughter of Eve?" The faun asked quite shocked.

"Well my mum's name is Helen-" Lucy said confused as too what he was trying to tell ask her.

"-Yes but you are in fact, human." The faun said looking around making sure no one could hear them.

"Of course" Lucy said in a curious tone. Everyone she had every met was human

"What are you doing here?" He asked concerned for the little girls life.

"Well, I came in through the wardrobe in the spare room and-"

"-Spare Oom, is that in Narnia?" The faun had hardly been all around Narnia due to Jadis' spell so he never really knew what places where in Narnia.

"Narnia? What's that?"

"My dear girl, you're in it! Everything from the lamppost all the way down to castle Cair Paravel on the Eastern Sea, every stick and stone, every icicle, is Narnia." He said pointing to the directions.

"This is an awfully big wardrobe" Lucy said amazed.

"Wardrobe" He muttered under his breathing laugh due to being confused. "I'm sorry, please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Tumnus."

"Pleased to meet you Mr Tumnus!" she said excitedly while extending her hand out "I'm Lucy Pevensie." Mr Tumnus stared at the hand with a confused expression written on his face. As he looked at her to help him with what he was meant to do. "Oh, you shake it!" She said after realising he didn't know what to do.

"Why?" He said laughing at what Humans do in Lucy's world.

"I- I don't know actually! People do it when they meet each other."

"Well Lucy Pevensie" He said while shaking her hand. "From the shining city of War Drobe in the far land of Spare Oom." He stopped shaking her hand and picked up his umbrella." How would it be if you came and had tea with me?"

"Oh. Well I really must be heading back-"

"-yes well it's not everyday I make a new friend. And there's a roaring fire! And toast and cakes! And maybe.. We'll even break into the sardines." He said trying to convince her to stay longer.

"Well,  maybe for a little while.. if you have sardines."

"By the bucket load" He said with a smile. "Come along"

Lucy couldn't help but smile as the fact she had made a new friend as she walked off towards his house

In the distance stood a hooded person, they had watched everything that had happened. The cloaked figure had hoped Mr Tumnus had kept their promise. They had then stepped on a twig making Lucy look back but they had fallen behind the bush. The cloak had fallen off and it revealed to be Hecta. If Mr Tumnus told Jadis were Lucy was it wouldn't end well for Hecta as she would have to kill Jadis herself which was easier said than done.
