TH Chapter 24

After breakfast, Maymay and I prepared to go to the mall.
I want her to look her best for Dodong so we went to a salon and did all the works.
Then after, I took her shopping for clothes.
Alam ko naman simple lang ang mga damit na dala nya kaya I decided to buy her a dress. Simple lang naman, 'cause I know that's how she likes it.
Ayaw nya pa nga nung una kaya lang pinilit ko sya!
I actually blackmailed her that I will reveal her true identity to Dodong if she doesn't agree on wearing the dress that I bought for her. Kaya wala na syang nagawa. I haven't told her yet where we are going. It's a secret between me and Marco.
After that we went home and prepared for our date.
Alam nyo naman girls take a lot of time to prepare.

I already told lola that I am going out on a date with Marco. And since I know that "Mary Dale" is not allowed to go out unchaperoned, of course I will bring Maymay with me. And she immediately gave her permission.
I don't know, but I think she has an idea of why Mary Dale is here in Manila.
Anyway, I'm off to prepare for our date.

"Juls, saan ba kasi tayo pupunta?"

"It's a secret my dear cousin!"

"Secret, secret ka pa dyan! Baka mamaya hindi bagay itong suot ko sa pupuntahan natin!"

"Don't worry May I assure you, okay lang yang suot mo at I'm sure meron na namang matutulala sa itsura mo mamaya!"

"Magpalit na lang kaya ako ng jeans at shirt?"

"Oh no May you are going to wear the dress that I picked for you even if I have to dress you myself!"

"Grabe ka naman!"

"If I didn't know any better I would say that you are nervous about meeting your Dodong again!"

"I'm not!"

"Talaga? Then wear that dress and I will believe you!"

"There you go blackmailing me again!"

"Ewan ko ba naman kasi sayo bakit pagdating kay lover boy Dodong mo triggered ka agad!"

"Will you please stop saying he's my lover boy!"

"Lover boy!" mas lalo lang syang inasar ni Juliana.

Samantala, hindi na rin mapakali si Edward kung ano'ng susuotin nya.
Kanina pa sya papalit-palit ng damit. Hindi nya alam kung bakit aligaga sya sa pagkikita nila ulit ni Maymay eh makikisabit lang naman sila sa date ni Mary Dale at Marco.
Narinig nyang tumunog ang cellphone nya. Dali-dali nyang tiningnan kung sino ang nagtext.

Si Marco "Bro, sorry hindi na pala kita maisasama sa date namin!".

"What the hell Marco!" ang sabi nya sa sarili.
Agad-agad nyang dinial ang number ni Marco.
Naka-ilang ring na pero hindi pa rin ito sumasagot.

"Dammit, Marco answer the phone!"

Naka-ilang ring pa at sumagot na rin ito.
Hindi pa nakakapagsalita si Marco ay nagsalita na si Edward.

"What the hell was that Marco! Di ba sinabi ko sayo na ako ang magdadrive para sa date nyo ni Mary Dale? Eh anong kagaguhan 'tong text mo? Bakit si Chan na ba ang isasama mo?"
