For kirstencallahan12

It was a plan. When Vern had relayed the story about his brother, Billy, Charlie Hogan, and Ray Brower's body, you all figured out a cover story to tell your parents, so you guys could go look for the body.

You ran home and grabbed a sleeping bag, some pocket change, and a canteen. You told your parents the exact story you were supposed to.

"I don't know," your mother stretched out. "I suppose if Vern's mother is alright with it, you can go."

"Thanks Mom!" you yelled as you dashed out of the house.

You met up with the guys and thus started the journey. Most of the time, you kept pace with Teddy and Vern. Teddy was your best friend out of the group, and you may or may not have developed a crush on him. It was just that, as a girl, you became interested in boys before they got into girls, really.

You guys were walking along the tracks when you all noticed a train coming. All but Teddy got off the tracks. Everyone started yelling at him to get off the tracks, especially you and Chris. At the last second, Chris yanked Teddy off the tracks.

Your heart had been pounding. You were almost paralyzed by the scene, but you were drawn back into your senses when you realized Teddy and Chris were arguing with each other.

"You wanna kill yourself, man? Huh, is that what you want?" Chris practically screamed. "I saved your life."

"I could've dodged it," Teddy muttered before walking away.

"Teddy, it doesn't matter if you dodged it or not. We were all worried about you," you interjected, causing everyone to face you. Surprisingly, no tears had escaped your eyes.

"Oh shut up, Rocky," Teddy spat, making your chest hurt a little.

"No! What if when you tried to dodge it, you didn't? What if you changed your mind and you just became pulp on the tracks, huh, Teddy? What then," you argued. His density towards your emotions frustrated you.

"Oh what does it mater anyway?" Teddy countered.

The other boys were just kind of standing there, not sure whether to join the conversation or not.

"What does it matter?" you repeated in a tone of disbelief. "It matters because I like you Teddy! Okay? I like you, like more than my best friend."

Now, they were all staring at you with wide eyes, mouths hanging open.

"Um.. We'll leave you two alone for a second," Chris decided and motioned for Gordie and Vern to follow him as he walked a little further away.

You adjusted the ponytail you had your shoulder length, brown hair in. "Teddy, I'm sorry. I shouldn't've said that." You bit your lip and frowned, mentally scolding yourself for the outburst.

"Wait, Rocky, you- You like me?" he asked. His face still showed surprise.

You looked down at your shoes. "Yeah," you mumbled.

When he didn't say anything else, you looked up only for him to grab your face as smash it into his. Your lips met in a rather rough kiss, neither of you being experienced.

You pulled back, slightly out of breath, from the kiss itself and the fact that he had just kissed you. "Wow," you breathed.

One of the other boys wolf whistled. "Ooo! Go Duchamp!" Chris yelled.

"Rocky and Teddy sitting in a tree..." Gordie and Vern sang.

You and Teddy just glared at them. Teddy kissed your cheek, took hold of your hand, and started walking.

There was a light, fluttery feeling in your stomach. Just the contact with Teddy made you giddy, and you were just happy that you yelling at him got you together.

Here you go! I hope you like it! Sorry it's kinda lame. And I feel like I had Chris do a lot an the other boys were just kinda there. Thank you for requesting! M'kay.
