164:Teddy Imagine pt. 2 for @NicoleGraceMarrero

"Nicole, what are you doing?" Teddy looked between you and the fast approaching train. He too had thought about attempting to dodge the train, but he abandoned the idea, thinking of you.

However, you had another idea. "I've got this." You stared down the locomotive. "Tren, venir a buscarme," you whispered in Spanish.

(In English: "Train, come get me.")

"No, get off the tracks!" Teddy yelled. The train was beginning to drown out his shouts. "Get off!"

The other boys joined in, shouting for you to move out of the way.

Just before the train could barrel you down, Teddy launched himself into you. You both landed roughly on the ground on the other side of the tracks, leaving the boys worried, unable to see either of you.

You shoved Teddy off of you and swiftly got to your feet, dusting yourself off. You glared at him as he got himself up.

"What the hell?" he scolded.

"Qué quieres decir?" you retorted. "Estate bien antes de tu me empujaste!"

(In English: "What do you mean?.... I was fine before you pushed me.")

Teddy looked at you, his lingering anger being replaced by confusion. "What? Nicole, do you realize you could have died?"

"¿De verdad? Hubieras hecho lo mismo!" you persisted, not caring about the language difference. Your frustrations were deeper than that.

(In English: "Oh really? You would have done the same!")

"That was a really stupid idea. And that's coming from me! I like you Nicole, and I'd like you better if you'd stay alive, alright?"

Your anger dissipated, your heated cheeks remaining so for another reason. "Te amo," you replied softly, pulling him into a hug.

He was taken by surprise but hugged you back, just as the train cars finished passing by. "I don't know what you said, but I'm glad you're not still yelling at me."

You looked up at him, smiling. "I said I love you."

Without the train to hide you anymore, your little moment was in full view to Vern, Gordie, and Chris, who were both confused and smug.

Chris wolf-whistled. "Go Teddy!"

"Yeah, way to go, Teddy!" Vern agreed.

Gordie stood there, smirking and shaking his head at the two of you, suddenly feet away from each other, having jumped at their exclamations.

"Let's just go," you said, rolling your eyes and continuing down the tracks.

I'm so sorry this is sooo late!! I really hope those are worded correctly,  I'm still learning Spanish, so if I got anything wrong let me know. I used Google translate and my own basic knowledge of Spanish grammar. I hope you liked it! Thank you for requesting and for waiting for so long. M'kay.
