You were intrigued, concerned even. Your boyfriend of nearly 6 years, Teddy, had been acting strange lately. Well, more strange, as he had always been a bit weird, but who isn't?

But there was just something off about him. It didn't seem bad or anything, you could just sense something different about him, and you were dying to know what was up, but you didn't want to push the subject.

One day, he just decided on an impromptu dinner out somewhere.

"Where are we gonna go then?" you asked, amused because he was acting very excited for some reason.

"How about we go to the diner?" he suggested. "Come on, please!"

You relented. "Alright."

"But... Uh, just for fun, let's both dress up a little," he said slowly.

You were rather suspicious, but you went with it. You both went and changed into nicer clothes and headed off to the diner.

After you two had ordered, Teddy seemed fidgety.

"Teddy, baby, are you alright? You can't seem to sit still," you pointed out. You gave him a smile.

He sighed. "Oh what the heck, I can't wait any longer." He slid out of the booth across from you and knelt down in front of you.

You were beyond shocked. Your hand flew to your mouth. "Teddy..."

"Camryn, I'm not good with speeches, so I'll get to the point. I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He pulled out a simple, sparkling ring from his pocket. "Camryn Y/L/N, will you marry?"

You flung your arms around him. "Of course! Yes, Teddy. I'll marry you." You were slightly crying, but you tried to suppress any other tears from slipping out, as he slid the ring on your finger.

He stood up and kissed you. "I love you, baby," he said softly.

You found it hard to keep your voice from wavering with all the excitement and joy building up in you. "Oh, Teddy... I love you too."

Most of the other people in the diner, including the waitresses, took notice in the proposal and all began to clap as you two shared another kiss.

Throughout your dinner, many of the people came and congratulated you both.

You couldn't wipe the smile off of your face the entire evening because you knew that soon you would be married to the love of your life.

I really hope you like it! Thank you for requesting. I wrote this while on the plane, and idk I always feel like someone's gonna look at my phone and judge me or something. Oh well. M'kay.
