Chapter 110: Overwhelming Specs

The equivalent of zergs in Kouzuki's world. When they created TSFs and g-bombs (pollution-free nukes), they were supposed to push back these abominations, yet they couldn't.

There are two reasons as to why this happened: Laser/Heavy Laser-class BETAs that prevented any kind of air support and their element of surprise.

Out of all attacks that they did, they came as a surprise every single time. Coupled with the fact that they couldn't help the TSFs in the land, they are slowly getting pushed back.

This is also the main reason why their mecha are called "Tactical Surface Fighters" instead of Mobile Suits.

However, this will all change... if there's a mobile suit that is specialized on one-versus-many scenarios.

With the GN Particle's property to control inertia, Exia dodged the incoming thick laser from a Laser-Class BETA. Soon after, it threw a pair of GN Beam Daggers on its rear waist.

Unsurprisingly, it managed to kill 2 Laser-class BETAs along with some unfortunate ones.

"If I knew that it'll be like this..."

Kouzuki: That's the advantage of being airborne. You'll only have to deal with the Laser-class ones and I'm sure you could avoid them with your reflexes.

Shinji: "So this is how you pilot a mecha..."

Roman: "This is much better than the movies from before!"

Right now, Shiro turned on the "Video Calling" feature of the Chat Group, which can be called as "Livestreaming" as well. Since he promised them to stream his first flight of Exia, he did.

Touka: "They look horrendous."

Kuroneko: "Horrendous?! I prefer their design, to be honest."

Though, one of the issues that he thought is the looks of these BETAs; even among this world's experienced soldiers, it is enough to bring fear and PTSD.

This is why the appearance of BETAs are kept highly confidential by the government. As to how they did, Shiro attributed it to their years of efforts.

"Looks like the optical camouflage can only last this long." He muttered as he sensed a few gazes coming inside the select TSFs.

Shiro soon came to a decision and turned off the optical camouflage, revealing the strange design Exia has compared to the normal TSFs. He also made his intercoms "open to public" so that he can converse with the others.

It didn't matter much before since it gets deactivated the moment he clashes with other BETAs, thus others can see him for a moment.

It didn't take long before someone connected to it. An image of a dignified woman in a skintight attire that offsets the g-force. Her brown ponytail coupled with her sidetails made a perfect match to her current dignified aura.

"State your affiliation." She asked calmly.

Since she saw him helped them defend Niigata, she didn't doubt his identity. Only, she merely wanted to know of his affiliation, whether he belongs to America's new set of TSFs or another force within the United Nations.

Hearing this, Shiro smiled. He didn't turn on his visuals and casted a spell that changes the tone of his voice to be more deeper. Thinking of 00 Gundam's organization, he said:

"Celestial Being."

The dignified woman, Captain of the Imperial Army's 12th Division, murmured in confusion. As far as she knows, there's not a single force that possesses a name like that.
