Chapter 35: Chain Reaction

God, Haechan was in trouble.

Mark looked hot. Too hot.

Why did the 'Chain' MV had to have a concept like this. Why couldn't it be soft like 'Touch'?

Soft Mark was bearable. But hot Mark?

Oh god, what should Haechan do?

And also Mark felt something weird in his stomach, when he saw Haechan wearing the pink shirt.

But since Mark couldn't name this feeling, he just ignored it.

But not Haechan. He couldn't ignore his feelings.

So he did the only thing he was able to do in this situation.

Ignoring Mark.

And Haechan did a really good job with it.
He joked around with the other members and diverted his attention away from Mark.

Not realizing, what his actions would do to the older.

Haechan was currently playing "gawi bawi bo" with Doyoung.
The winner could do what he wanted to the loser.
For Doyoung this meant, slapping Haechan slightly on the cheek or tickling him.
While Haechan used his win for cheek kisses or hugs.

Later Johnny joined the game.
His prizes also mostly were hugs or tickling the other.

It was just a simple game to kill some time but they all had a lot of fun.

They didn't even realize that from the other side of the room they were watched by a Canadian boy, who talked to Jaehyun.

Jaehyun followed Mark's eyes and immediately smiled, when he saw how Haechan was tickled by Johnny.

But on Mark's face wasn't even a trace of a smile.

His stomach got a weird feeling again. But it was different from the other one.
This one didn't make him feel good, it let him feel rather mad.

But Mark still couldn't name the feeling.

Jaehyun realized that something was wrong with Mark but he didn't know what.

That is why he asked: "Should we go over there and play with them?"

Mark quickly looked in Jaehyun's eyes and immeditaley said "No!" a little bit harshly.

But then his face softened and he quietly shook his head, while looking down.

"No, let's just stay here."

And they did.

A few minutes later it was lunch break and Mark found Haechan eating with Taeil.

Haechan didn't even ask him to eat with them.

The weird feeling No. 2 returned.

Taeyong joined them and the two eating boys smiled to see the leader.

Mark also could have joined them. But he didn't want to.

He didn't understand these feelings, he just knew that he couldn't stand being close to Haechan right now.

He knew his words to the younger would be harsh and distant.
And he didn't want to fight with him again.

After all the younger did nothing wrong, right?

Then why was Mark feeling like that?

The shooting was almost finished.
