THEY WERE HEADING back to Mexico.

But this time they were going to save Scott and Kira.  And this time Beck and Liam were coming too.

At the moment, Stiles and Malia waited with the three freshmen for everyone else to arrive.  Braeden had gone to get a vehicle that was strong enough to carry Liam as he fought the power of the full moon.

Finally, a van pulled up, Braeden at the wheel.

"How did you get a prison transport van?"  Stiles asked, gesturing to the van as Braedon approached.

   "I'm a U.S. Marshal," she scuffed.

"Yeah, I just thought that was just a cover."

"Are we sure that would be able to hold Liam till we get to Mexico?"  Beck asked, eyeing the van as she shifted her bag on her shoulder.  The items inside clinked together.  Mostly they were to help hold Liam and help find Scott.  "Last time we tried to hold someone in a transport van like that, they broke out."

"Yeah, but that was a homicidal lizard," Stiles argued, lifting a finger.

"As opposed to a homicidal werewolf jacked up on the full moon?"  Beck scuffed, glaring over at Stiles.

"We really bringing him?"  Derek asked, pointing at Liam as he and Uncle Peter approached from Derek's car.

"We really bringing him?"  Beck countered, standing defensively in front of Liam as she pointed at Uncle Peter.  She was still bitter about the man's involvement with the Deadpool.  Beck would probably never forgive Uncle Peter for it and the other things he had done.

She was also confused.  Why was he there?  Uncle Peter never helped them out unless the results went in his favor.  Suddenly, he was there to help save Scott and Kira, no favors asked.  Something wasn't right.  And it wasn't just Beck's trust issues talking.

Uncle Peter rolled his eyes at his niece's obvious resentful tone.  "We're bringing everyone that we can," he snapped, glaring down at Beck.  "And considering Scott and Kira were taken the night before the full moon, we should probably get going."

"What's that mean?"  Malia asked as everyone eyed the older werewolf.

"If Kate took Scott back to the same temple that she took Derek, how do we know she's not planning to do the same thing to him?"  Peter asked, looking between everyone gathered.

"What, she wants to make him younger?"

"Or take him back to when he wasn't a werewolf," Derek realized.

"Shit," Beck hissed as she scratched at her eyebrow.  Why does this keep getting increasingly serious?

"A werewolf can't steal a true alpha's power," Uncle Peter explained.  "But maybe a Nagual Jaguar, with the power of Tezcatlipoca behind her... maybe she can."  Uncle Peter sighed, studying every face of the teenagers standing in front of him.  "So, if everyone is sufficiently freaked out, I say we get going."

"We can't," Stiles said, shaking his head.  "Not without Lydia."

"Maybe you should try calling her," Beck suggested.  Stiles nodded his head before stepping to the side, pulling out his phone to call the banshee.  Shifting her bag on her shoulder again, Beck turned to Liam.  "You ready?"

"For the full moon?  Or going to Mexico to save Scott?"  Liam asked, looking at Beck.

"Yes," the blonde nodded, earning a snort from Liam.  "Hey, just remember I'll be right there with you, okay?  Just think about all the work we've been doing so far.  I'm still your anchor, right?"
