9 - 'Cut it out'

"This is a spec ops raid behind enemy lines. Captain Price, Captain Soap, Lieutenant Ghost, and Sarge, you are tasked with infiltrating an enemy military base and extracting valuable intel. You's are to neutralize any guards, eliminate any high-ranking officials, and recover a vital computer hard drive containing top secret research on new weapons systems. Once the operation is complete, you must escape before enemy reinforcements arrive. This is a high-risk mission, so the team must proceed with caution. "

You glanced at Ghost. You'd never been on a risky mission before, not one like this with a small group. These required training and skill. Ghosts focus was on the Major as he explained.

"Ghost, I want you acting as field Commander. You are in charge of the overall operation and will be directing the mission.

Sargeant, I want you as a stealth Operative. You will be responsible for sneaking into the enemy base and avoiding detection while extracting the intel. You will be retrieving the drive with the help of your captains.

Captain Price you'll recon Specialist. You are in charge of gathering information about the enemy base and its security measures, leading the way and assessing the situation as the team moves through the base.

Captain Soap youll be acting as comms Specialist. You are responsible for communication with headquarters and keeping the team updated on the mission status you will also be on standby as Heavy Weapons Specialist. You provide as heavy weapon support for the team, taking down enemies and destroying obstacles with your firepower if things take a turn"

You looked about, none of them looked phased not a hint of fear on their faces had stern and focused gazes. You tensed a little upon finding out your position in this mission. You fiddled with your fingers as the Major continued.

"The location is in Ostrovia. A small country in Eastern Europe, known for its picturesque mountain ranges and ancient history. It has a rich culture and a strong military presence. The mission is based in an enemy military compound located deep within the mountains, where top secret research is being conducted"

The mission was quite far away, it required a bit of traveling..

"The team will make use of a transport vehicle, a convoy. Price you'll be driver with Soap as your substitute. For part of the journey, Youll be traveling by helicopter to provide a quick and efficient way to cover vast distances. Soap your trained on piloting aircraft, so we trust you have the skills necessary to safely traverse the terrain and fly over"

Soap gives a sharp nod, taking the information as everyone else. Outside of missions they'd seemed so different, except for Ghost of course. He was always serious, Soap and Price's humor had suddenly vanished and they were professional and prepared.

"The base is located at the top of a mountain peak and surrounded by thick woods and rocky terrain. It's equipped with advanced security systems, including motion sensors, cameras, and alarms that can detect and alert the enemy to the team's presence"

The Major rubbed his hands together as the other one started pulling out utilities, sliding a few across to each solider before they equipped them into the slots of their uniforms and belts. "Let's talk utilities"

"You'll be wielding flashbangs, used to temporarily disorient enemies and make them vulnerable if needed, you've got two each. Smoke grenades to create a thick cloud of smoke to cover yours or the team's movements and confuse the enemy, two as usually, sarge however you'll have three given your role.

Soap and Ghost you'll both have C4 explosives, used to blow open doors or destroy other obstacles, or to be used tactically in combat. Price considering your position for this mission we'll be giving you a sniper with a thermal scope used to identify enemy soldiers or other targets in low light or through smoke.
