Chapter 31: Boss - The Flare Eyes II

In one swing the boss brought its giant glaive down on my head. I made a move rolling out of the way, avoiding the fatal blow.

Stumbling to my feet, I was barely able to turn around in time to see and block the boss's follow up attack, a wide arched horizontal slash.

Blocking the attack did little good. The attack ate through my «Stamina» and dipped straight into my «Health», reducing it by about sixty-five percent. On top of the damage from the attack, the blow sent me flying. Without the «Stamina» to soften my landing I hit the ground hard, too hard.

I had less than five percent of my «Health» left. My «Health» was now in the red. I was in too much pain to even scream, much less move.
