Despite my best efforts there was one fatal flaw in my plan. My limited access to healing items. Within the game there was four vials or flasks used to store potions, at present I have only one with Maximum usage of three drinks.
At present I had one Flask with two uses left and now after about an hour of whittling down its health, the knight was left with about one tenth of its health left.
With two drinks left I had to be extra careful, one wrong move and all my hard work would be gone.
Moving myself into a better position I held my sword up posed ready for the next attack.
