Chapter 81: Level Two

I walked over to the town square, where the fountain was, above it was the grand spirit crystal. I wasn't sure what to do so I brought out the [Crystal of Enaid].

Immediately the two began to resonate. Around the crystal seven icons appeared.

Each of these icons were the colors of the rainbow representing the seven «Qiu» or «Kae» currency, or the seven emotional colors within the game's lore.

Each had a number next to it, the number of gems I had of each color. Above the crystal in my hand was a bar with the numbers {1050 exp.} The amount of experience in needed and abbreviation {Lv. 1}, my current level.

I flicked the wheel around, having it land on the gem I wanted. Clicking on each gem I saw the bar above my crystal fill till it hit the next threshold.

I pressed the crystal. A prompt appeared {accept/ yes or no}. I clicked yes; the crystal glowed brightly then stopped. I received another prompt.

{Level Up}

"I did it I'm level 2."

Just as I was about to celebrate there was an eerie quiet, then I heard several voices.

"Hey, look at that he just leveled up."

"Oh no!"
