Chapter 147: Hunting

As the two of us walked about through the forest we were busy equipping our new gear.

I had bought an [Iron bow (Good)] which would give me an overall ten-point boost to my attack damage. It wasn't a major damage increase but in this early stage every point of damage helps.

Xuelian and I had come to a consensus that with monsters this week that upgrading gear was more so a waste of time. It was easy to scrap older gear for upgrade material.

As we made our way through the forest, we spent the rest of the day hunting down monsters. We came back to town sometime after nightfall to rest, level up and restock.

We spent the following three days the same way, hunting and leveling up. The morning of the meeting we awoke early, ate breakfast, and talked amongst ourselves.

We took a look at the pamphlet again. The meeting was set to be held in the starting area as it was the only place safe enough and large enough to hold all the players. The pamphlet gave directions through a secret area that bypassed the boss at the starting area.

"Xuelian you ready?"

"Yeah."
