Chapter 189: Mid-Boss - The Kailesid III

I released several arrows as fast as I could drawing the attention of the [Kailesid]. Xuelian rushed in behind the [Kailesid], jumping up she struck down with an explosive kick.

A second later she was up again delivering blow after blow: A knee, a kick and roundhouse, a punch, an elbow strike, another punch, a jumping kick.

Backing off from the [Kailesid] I released several more arrows dead center of the spirit, with the goal of «stun locking» it.

Catching her breath Xuelian went in again only for the spirit to release a roar that threw Xuelian to the ground again.

The [Kailesid] was now going in for the kill as Xuelian tried to recover from the attack.

I had to do something, or she was good as dead.

I moved in closer releasing arrow after arrow trying to draw it's attention. When I was a few meters away I switched to my knife and drove the blade in the [Kailesid], desperate to protect Xuelian.

To my surprise she had leap over top of me and delivered a kick to the [Kailesid].

With that last kick the [Kailesid] dissolved into nothing.
