After Xuelian had asked what Cyrus meant by market potential, he sighed again and began to explain.

"Well, I signed an NDA with Arthorias. When the tournament was to be announced Arthorias called out to the smiths to offer prizes to the semifinalists on up. This tournament is a great way for the struggling smiths to make a name for themselves. Especially since merchants have become a dime a dozen."

"What do you mean?" Xuelian asked.

"Well think about it, who really wants to risk their life out there; suffer pain at the slim chance of escaping this hell hole. Becoming a merchant is an easy way of gaining money to level and live day to day," Cyrus replied plainly.

"That makes sense I guess," Xuelian replied.

"The number of players who are becoming merchants and smiths is skyrocketing. This tournament was to give incentives to smiths and merchants who actually wanted to pursue that line of work. On that note word to the wise, I can't say much about it but, Arthorias is also planning to give out incentives to players who hunt and fight to beat the event. He's trying rebalance the merchant to adventure ratio."
