Chapter 62: Towards the Light

After my «Stamina» recovered to safe levels and my breathing returned to normal, my counterattack could begin. I would have to play this very carefully and stay on the defensive.

Due to how dim the area within the open room was, I couldn't read the name and «HP» of the thing that was attacking me.

My only choice was to move towards the places where the light shone through the ceiling. Once the name and information were shone, it would remain visible throughout the fight.

I made my way towards one of the holes in the ceiling, the sun had faded, and moonlight poured out of the hole in a beam of light. I evaded as many of the attacks as I could, blocking only when i desperately needed to, all the while slowly moving backwards toward the light.

Eventually i made it back moving though the light overhead and with one final back step i avoided the attacker's strike. Now as it stepped into the light, its name was revealed.
