"Oh yeah sure, I'll team up with you," I replied quickly.

"Alright, thank you," Xuelian gave a slight bow of her head.

With that we added each other to our friends list.

To be honest I was more than a little happy.

"You should upgrade your equipment; it's going to get harder from here. There's several «NPCs» in that building to your right. One will upgrade your gear, the other keeps saying something about the soul, a miasma, and strengthening the body."

After she finished talking, I followed Xuelian inside. To my right there was an NPC sitting in front of a candle. In front of me was an «NPC» with a long hood covering their head, the «NPC» was holding something that glowed faintly.

Xuelian pointed to the «NPC» on the right as the repair and forge tech. A blacksmith of sorts. The name read wandering Smith Trader Jack.

Approaching the «NPC» a prompt appeared.

Pushing the prompt, the «NPC» turned to face me.

"Oh, I didn't see you there. You trapped here too? I came here looking to make a fortune, that didn't work out, and now I'm stuck here. Anyway, what can I do for you?"
