Arthorias announced an upcoming tournament. In this tournament anyone could participate, as long as they paid an entrance fee.

It was odd that Arthorias would announce a tournament now, especially in the midst of all the chaos and confusion.

Though if I had to guess why, it was probably an attempt to give players a distraction, something to take their mind off the situation we are all in, and the crushing reality of that situation. This event the game of death was something that if left unchecked could drive players to the edge.

Without an outlet for stress people tend to snap, lash out, becoming filled with anxiety, anger, and depression.

People love to see contests of skill and strength; and people love to compete against one another to see who is better and to push themselves.

"For this tournament, the seven of us here will be entering," Arthorias said aloud.

Amongst the crowd you could hear murmurs. Players saying, they can't measure up to the 57th strongest player in the game and who in their right mind would think they could.

"Remember, we have all been set back to zero, including myself."

Oh, that's right!
