Chapter 83: A Proposition

I snuck into the town trying my best to hide my face and avoid the other players. This town contains many things players would need to survive, and so there should be an Inn or diner I could sneak into.

Just as I reach out for the door. I feel a hand on my shoulder.

I spin around knocking the hand away and turned to face this person. He appeared to be a [Avinirra] like me except he was a [Lavic] or a light elf. Green eyes light blonde hair, fair skin. Hair tied and slicked back. Average frame and height.

"Hello there," his voice friendly and polite. As he spoke, he brought his voice down to a whisper "you're the one that everyone in town is talking about?"

I quickly became defensive; I didn't want any more questions. I didn't want anyone else to bother me.

"Relax, I already earned my jewel," the man opened his hand, suddenly a jewel exactly as mine appeared in his hand, "I have a proposition for you, it will be worth your while."
