Chapter 67: The Moonlight Dance IV

Within only one tenth of its HP left, somewhere I my head I knew I had to be careful.

The fight was beginning to wear me out, in a moment of recklessness and general stupidity I had become too eager to end this.

I stopped playing defensive and started taking hits, blocking, attacking with my stamina way too low to evade or guard effectively.

As the «Enraged» status ended I stepped back to let my «Stamina» regenerate, and I tried take a swig of my potion only to remember I used the last one minutes ago.

"Okay, this is bad."

This sudden realization made me calm down and play defensively again. I continued to lure the knight into the moonlight.

My heart was pounding my palms shaking, my breathing heavy.

This was do or die.

I kept evading, dodging each hit as my life depended on it, hoping that the very last sliver of its «Health» would disappear. I hoped I could just avoid the attacks long enough for it to die on its own.

But then I made that terrible mistake.
