When it came to crafting and forging, regardless of how the transaction was handled it was not a one hundred percent guarantee, there was always a chance that «A Piece of Junk» would be crafted.
Even if that item came out successful there was the chance no one would buy it and it would have to be dismantled to return get something back out of it.
Even with all that, it wasn't a cycle that could be repeated and repeated until you made a lot money in game, there was a limit on how many materials a player could gather, there was a limit on the chance of return on investment, but most importantly for any crafting.
It took time.
The more complicated and rarer the piece, the longer it took to forge, and even upgrade. Some pieces could take up to a day to forge.
For my armor it would be about two minutes a piece to upgrade and ten minutes to forge a weapon. In total it would be about eighteen minutes for four armor pieces and a sword.
