Chapter 96: Team Synergy

After several days of fighting together my thoughts were that we have good synergy together; we quickly understood each other's style, and approach.

I preferred to be fast, and light striking for critical areas doing more damage. I preferred using a short swords with an extended handle.

In the end I always choose light to medium armor but kept a heavy vambrace on to act as a small buckler. With it I could defend, and strike while keeping with my build light and nimble.

Xuelian on the other hand was a thing of beauty. She chose to use a lance, and a shield, wearing medium armor. Her movements were fierce, and deliberate, Powerful, and focused.

Most of her attacks were wide spinning attacks, or thrusting, with moves that struck with the entire length of the spear.

In fights I would move in first to engage with my speed, and Xuelian would then follow up for the kill.

I wasn't a fan of letting others kill for me, but this worked out best as I could move around quickly to defend her from behind if need be.

By the end of the week, we had progressed into exploring new areas.
