After about forty minutes I felt well enough to try to head back. I stood up and walked over to the exit.

I turned to look at the body of the hostile «NPC»; it hadn't disappeared yet. Walking over to it I saw something glimmering near it.

Reaching down I picked it up. A prompt appeared.

I also received several «Qiu» and two materials for forging. Putting them away I left the ruins and the forest.

The trip back was faster than the way there. Though there was something off. There were fewer monsters, but the few monsters acted like the «NPC» I just fought. Aggressive and powerful.

After about thirty minutes I made it back to the entrance of the town.

I hadn't run into too much trouble, but my «HP» was at about fifteen percent.
