Chapter 187: Mid-Boss - The Kailesid

The spirit lunged toward us with unyielding speed. It's movements oddly elegant and mystifying.

It's form was that of a woman covered in a dark inky mist-like veil, with long hair and talons.

We moved apart jumping to the side as the spirit moved to strike at us with its sharp talons.

As the [Kailesid] attacked, it turned its sights on Xuelian. Barely able to defend herself she dodged and blocked the swipes of its claws. Each hit drained Xuelian of a sliver of her health.

Dashing back to get more distance I switched to my bow and began firing arrow after arrow at the creature, taking careful aim not to hit Xuelian.

After about four arrows to the back the spirit dropped Xuelian as its target, then directed it's attacks against me.

Turning to face me the spirit lunged towards me, its talons ready to pierce through me. I wasted no time switching to my knife readying myself against the incoming attack.
