Xuelian turned to look at my face. My apparent avoidance made her worry. She leaned in to look me in the eyes.

I tried to turn away. Little good it did.

I unconsciously glanced over at her, my face still red, her hand still ahold of mine.

There it was, that awkward moment of silence.

She looked down at our hand, then at me. We looked at each in the eyes for what felt like an eternity.

I continued to look at her, just blankly staring at her as she held my hand. I came back to reality when I saw her face became as red as mine.

Her mouth slightly ajar as if a word were caught in her throat.

"Umm... M-my hand."

"Oh, oh... Right," She quickly let go and turned around. I felt disappointed but hated myself for causing the situation.

Again, things became awkward as we stood there silently. I wanted to reach out and touch her but may arm wouldn't move.

"So about, Cyrus...," I couldn't think of anything else to say.

"Yes. We need to talk to him; he didn't say a word to us about the tournament."

"...Yeah," she replied.
