Chapter 97: Mood Lighting

At the end of the first week, we decided to start exploring. We had begun by mapping the surrounding areas.

Mapping can be dangerous; there are countless dangers that lurk in the unknown. In this game the unknown will kill you. We advanced slowly and steady, being careful not to «Pull» too many monsters.

"Hey Xuelian, I think we're good for today, we should start heading back soon and I'm low on potions. What about you?"

"Yeah, we should head back, I'm low on potions too"

We walked back making small talk about the game trying to plan the next few days in advance.

We made it to an area called [The Forest of Winter] the area itself was not cold or snowy but some mysterious force caused specks of light to fall from the sky. It reminded me of a weather phenomenon called diamond dust.

Well at least according to the lore I could find on it. It vaguely referenced some otherworldly force. Either way it was beautiful. Somehow walking through this scenery was enchanting and somewhat romantic, especially since I'm next to such a beauty.

"Someone, please help!"

That was until a scream destroyed the mood.
