Chris Evans

He had been waiting at the airport for Caroline, when he had gotten the call from her. She was going to be late. They had cancelled her flight and she was now stuck in Paris for another two hours. He had found a spot to sit down in before he called her up on FaceTime.

"When does your plane leave Paris?" Chris looked at his girlfriend through the screen.

"At seven here in Paris. I have no idea what time that is in Boston," Caroline yawned and pulled the blanket around her and tried to sink even more into the massaging chair she sat in. "I even got bumped up to First class. They said that a certain Mr. Evans had called."

Chris adjusted his NASA baseball cap. "I don't know this Mr. Evans, but he seems like a good guy. I should be worried." He was not going to leave this airport until Caroline was in his arms safe and sound.

Caroline laughed at him. "Emma asked me when I was getting married, like I'm only twenty five, and probably not ready to settle down yet, but maybe I should marry this Mr. Evans guy. I mean he was kind enough to pay for First class, so he is obviously rich."

"Too bad I'm not Mr. Evans then." Chris laughed at Caroline through the phone. "Are you having fun?" She nodded as Chris stood up to go buy a coffee, and at the same time he started to plan how he was going to propose to Caroline.

What he didn't plan for was that it would turn out it would still be months until he would be able to do so.

"We should buy one of these chairs, Chris," Caroline spoke through the phone smiling when the massage ball hit a deep spot on her back and a moan slipped out of her. Chris hardened at the sound. "This is better than sex."

He thanked the barista and walked back to the spot he was previously sitting in. "Are you still at the airport? You don't have to wait for me, I can take a taxi home." His heart fluttered at her words. She was going to stay with him over Christmas, and she had just called it home.

"I don't mind, this is more fun than to just sit at home anyway. It is more fun to sit here at the airport and talk to you than it is to sit at home in the big empty house." Chris sipped on the coffee, it tasted horrible, but it would do for now.

"You are so sweet," Caroline took a bite out of a croissant she had bought. "I love you so much. But don't you wanna go home to Dodger?"

"And me you," Chris noticed that Caroline had closed her eyes. She had placed her phone on the table, having the flowerpot behind the phone so it would stand by itself. "Do you want us to hang up so you can sleep for a few hours?" Caroline shook her head and Chris smiled at her cuteness. She had curled up into the chair and her earplug almost fell out of her ear.

"Sleep tight, Sweetheart," He took another sip of his coffee. "I will be here when you wake up."

"Can Caroline Danielsen go to gate forty A," The speaker was loud and Chris laughed at Caroline when she jolted up from the chair she was sitting in and gathered her things. "I repeat; Can Caroline Danielsen go to gate forty A? The gate will soon close. Caroline Danielsen to gate forty A. Thank you."

"It's not funny, Chris," Caroline wasn't mad, at least not at him. He knew that. "You could at least have woken me up when I fell asleep. Now I will have to run through the airport. And I don't like cardio, especially running."
