There are so many ways your morning could have all turn out differently without your brother's interference, of course.

Imagine if you hadn't answered to Sunoo. You wouldn't have had to run back in your room while they all hear you screaming over the news of Park Sunghoon visiting your school.

Or before that, even: imagine if the letters were hidden perfectly and safely away from the spawn of the devil your mom managed to gift in your world. (Thank you, Mom!)

You might be one of those chill kids living the day as if you only live once, they said. In your story, Daniel is the one yolo-ing in the side.

Or later: if you hadn't gone to school earlier than you had to, if Violet wasn't a betrayer by stopping to your other friend, Hazel or if you weren't such a klutz - tripping over your shoe laces in the middle of the quad.

If you'd run just a bit faster to your classroom or if Lee Heeseung isn't too good of a student and perhaps he wouldn't have been helping the P.E teacher gets all the ball from the Tennis team.

And if Jay and Jake hadn't left the admission office, they wouldn't have seen you stepping out of the car, but then, you've always been a big believer in how you were the most unfortunate person since the day your baby brother swore to make you his personal clown in order to enjoy his sense of lording over your family.

And maybe this whole thing would not have happened. But it did.

"Damn you, Violet!", you cried, looking back behind wildly to see your bestfriend accepting the water bottle from Hazel as you run down the perimeter of the school grounds.

There was a breaking point for everyone's sanity. And you knew this was that exact moment for you the way it happens in a strange sort of serendipity. Before you even had reached the quad where all the sports club members are already practicing, the two boys was already hot on your tail.

They were even both shouting.

Jake's eyes flashed as though he was accepting a challenge. A challenge that you were stupid enough to give him. "Y/N, why are you running? Why are you running?!"

And there was a smile tugging at Jay's lips. "Who are you? Why are you after the girl I'm looking for?", he asked loudly to Jake.

"Well, she sended me a love letter, that's why!", Jake admitted as they started running together in an equal pace.

As it could be expected, Jay has this shell-shocked, confused expression on his face. "What? I got a letter too!", He holds up your letter. "I don't understand. What's happening?!"
