The first night at Daecheon started well enough. Your parents was too busy at looking all over the cabin they rented to even care what the childrens are doing. They didn't even notice Daniel was missing for one hour before he turned up with the reason he got lost and you didn't believe it along Jungwon, the two of you knew your brother better than that. He's obviously lying.

You could see it in his eyes. You could tell from the way he keeps hiding his phone from Jungwon's attempt to grab it. You can feel him vibrating with impishness inside and yet, you couldn't force him to reveal what it was that he's hiding. All you knew now is that you have to keep an eye on your back in case you needed to be ready for his mischief.

It isn't until later when Mom is fussing about Daniel who seriously didn't enjoy being hold up in his shared room with his bestfriend as you and Jungwon turn to leave with the permission of your dad, that you felt a little relieved. Which means the two of you could talk in peace.

As the two of you neared the seashore, the sparkle of the water from the moon above starts to get bigger in your sight. It's such a far cry from the nightview of the city - where even at this hour, the streets was alive with people and vehicles roaming by, and here there were bonfires instead with some groups of poi dancers, juggling with fire is keeping some of the tourists entertained - that it almost feels like you've traveled from another country.

There's nothing between you and Jungwon now, but the water and the sand and the scattered people walking around in pairs, groups or even alone. At least, everyone is content to hear and smell the soft blown of the waves every seconds.

"At last, we're free from any terror of Daniel fow now", you say as you slip off your sandals. Beside you, Jungwon is kicking off his sleepers, so that go arcing out onto the beach.

The two of you step off then from the cemented path, bare feet sinking into the sand and collect your footwears again together. Only for Jungwon to grab your sandals from your grasp.

He shrugs. "He'll still be continuing once he was freed from your mom's clutch", he says as you begin to walk toward a spot that no one had still not chosen to sit at. "You know him, he'll never get tired of getting between us"

"It's so unfair for me that I've gotten him as my brother", you say, stopping abruptly for a second at his next move.

Jungwon slings an arm around your shoulder, drawing you close to him, and the two of you almost stumble forward again in the soft sand. "I'm sorry", he whispers, his mouth close to your ears. "I'm just not used to this.."

"Right", you replied, circling an arm around his waist as his eyes were focused on you and you raised a silent eyebrow.

The two of you walked together like that, stepping carefully where the waves have made the surfaces dark and slick, and once you reached a lonely boulder in the side, you sit together with your feet dangling off in the edge.
