"Is there a more stupid question to ask?!"
"No, this is bullshit!" Lando shouted. "Lando..." you walked after him. You were his PR manager and you two just came back from an Interview about the Quali, where Lando's lap time got deleted because of the track limits. He would've been second, but now he finished in seventh place. Obviously, Lando wasn't happy with that result.
"Is there a more stupid question to ask?!" He shouted and moved his hands in the air to show his anger.
"Lando... You know they have to ask those kinds of questions. He didn't mean to upset you." you tried to calm him, or at least make him stop screaming around the paddock.
The guy asked Lando how he felt after losing five places due to track limits. You could've already sensed his anger when he started tensing up. Lando had managed to pull himself together and answered the question calmly, but you could tell from his face that the question was really getting on his nerves.
Lando let out a frustrated groan and ran his hands over his face. He then looked at you as if apologizing to you for his behaviour. You gave him an encouraging smile, an honest, loving smile. You moved closer to him and tilted your head back a little to look him in the eyes.
"You can still do it, Lando. You just have to believe in yourself, I do." you wanted to make him feel better. There was a small smile on Lando's face, and he looked at you intensely.
He appreciated it so much how you were with him. With you, he always had hope, because you gave it to him. You and Lando were together for some time now, and you were the best thing that has ever happened to him, he would say. He did not answer you, but took you in his arms. Lando kissed your hairline and smelled your scent. A scent that was all too familiar to him and that made him feel comfortable. You smiled into his chest as you wrapped your arms around his torso. The embrace didn't last long though, you didn't want anyone to see you like that. So intimate. Too intimate to seem only like colleagues.
When you made sure no one was watching, you went up on your tiptoes and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. "I love you, you got this." you whispered to him and made him smile.

"Big smiles down at McLaren, as Lando Norris takes another Podium in Formula One. A super drive from him this afternoon! Great recovery drive from Lewis Hamilton." the commentator said as the camera showed all the Mechanics in Lando's garage, who were now running to the fence to cheer for him. "Wonderful drive from Lando Norris to make amends after his disappointment in qualifying yesterday." You were beyond happy and still a bit shaky as the last few laps were really intense.
