George Russell, Alex Albon and Charles Leclerc. Everyone knew them, the famous Formula One drivers and part of the Twitch Quartet. But for you, they were simply your best friends.

Alex had introduced you to them one day when he was still streaming with them, and you came into his room. Alex and you had known each other for as long as you could remember. You were five years younger than him, and your mothers were and still are best friends.

When your mother took you to the Albon's for the first time, just a few weeks after you were born, it was like Alex had another little sister. Although the two of you theoretically spent every day of Alex's free time together, you never accompanied him to a race.

The boys had a race this weekend, but they still didn't want to postpone the weekly phone call. You had told them many times to concentrate on the race but every time, they acted like you were crazy to say that. The answer was always the same: "Why should we?".

So you opened your laptop again this weekend to answer George's call.
With a grin, you looked at the screen where you could already see George, Alex and Charles.

Sometimes it was almost surreal to call these three boys your best friends.

"Hellooo." Charles and Alex greeted you in chorus. All of you had to laugh, "Did you rehearse that?" you asked chuckling and when they both shook their heads 'no' at the same time, George made a disbelieving face, "Oh my god.".

"How are you clowns?" you asked the three of them jokingly and started talking about the weekend. George told you that he had forgotten to pack his shoes for the fashion show and Natalie had made fun of him for it.

"She's right though George, who forgets their shoes?" you teased him and looked at Alex and Charles. They were laughing at their friend and you could tell from George's face that it hadn't been the first time this weekend. "That's what she said." he returned defeated.

"Mate, you are in Monaco, this isn't the first time you've attended a fashion show, is it?" Charles laughed and you could hear his familiar french accent. "But then, it's George." Alex added to tease George even more.

He also told you about Natalie's dress, because he knew you would have loved it, when his face suddenly became a little more serious.

"You didn't see colours yet, did you?" George asked.

"Any colour yet." you answered him and shrugged your shoulders.

Alex looked at you a little pityingly, he had always found it the worst of all that you still couldn't see any colours.

"I know you will find him." Alex said. If he had been with you now, he would have nudged you on the shoulder and tried to distract you from it. But since he couldn't, he tried to make the best of the situation.

"But... What if I don't find him?" you said a little dejectedly. Even though you never really showed it and mostly tried to suppress it, it was hard for you to know that others could already see colours.

You knew that one day you would be able to do it too, but it still made you feel sad sometimes.

"Don't get stressed about that! You will find him, I'm very sure about that." George said and with his next sentence a small grin crept onto his face
"And if you don't... I'm here if you want to." he joked.

And once again, George managed to make you smile. You giggled and shook your head at his comment. If someone else had heard it, it might have come across as flirting or something, but between you, it was almost like an embrace. The three of them were always there for you, and they made sure you never forgot that.

How you could be so lucky, you didn't really know yourself sometimes.

Alex laughed and shook his head at George's comment.

"Lando wants to join us." Charles said, still grinning at George, and you raised your eyebrows in confusion.

"Who wants to join?" you asked. You had heard of him before, you believed, but the three of them talked and showed you a lot, so you weren't sure if you had seen him before.

"A friend of us." Alex answered with a wink.

Another window popped up on your call and for a moment your heart missed a beat. Your fingers trembled slightly as you lowered your hands flat on the table.

"Wait..." you said quietly, not believing what just happened. George, Alex and Charles saw the confused look on your face and got worried immediately. Just when George wanted to ask you if you're fine, Lando shouted, "What?! I SEE COLOURS NOW!".

You had your hand covering your mouth and were looking at the screen in disbelief.

You breathed in and out unevenly, your hand still in front of your mouth. Lando looked as happy as his friends had ever seen him as he threw his hands in the air in disbelief and pure happiness.
An incredibly joyous grin formed on your lips.

"Me too!" you almost shouted back, and smiled at the boys. You pressed your lips together because you had to suppress a few tears despite the happiness that was inside you.

Alex was smiling proudly, so unbelievably happy that you could finally see colours.

That you finally met your soulmate.
