"And he said to me: My grace is sufficient for you, because my power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will gladly boast in my weaknesses beforehand, so that the power of Christ may rest on me."
2 Corinthians 12: 9
Many times or almost all times we want to do it our way. But here Paul discovers one of the keys to having a victorious life with the Lord. When we are weak, we are actually stronger than ever! (2 Corinthians 12:10)
This weakness does not mean that we need to be sick or injured in the body ... The weakness listed here is referring to our behavior in the face of situations. The Lord can only act when our flesh is weak, for the Lord is a Spirit, and works spiritually in our lives. (Galatians 2: 19-20; Galatians 5:17; John 4:23)
When our flesh, or our wills, are below the Lord's wills, that is, when we are weak, the Lord comes with His strength on us and perfects us. (2 Corinthians 12: 9)
Perhaps he is complaining or distressed by the situation in his life today, but Paul had a message from the Lord and it is good for us too, the grace of the Lord is already sufficient in our lives.
