"Only beware of the condemned things, lest, having condemned them, take them not; and thus ye shall make the camp of Israel accursed, and confound it."
Joshua 6:18
After the conquest of Jericho, God warns Joshua not to take anything from her, as it was all cursed. But Achan, disobeyed the command of God, and became cursed after taking some things from Jericho. (Joshua 7:20-21) Because of this attitude of Achan, the Israelites lost the battle against a city called Ai. Apparently it was a small town with few soldiers, but sin did not let the Israelites win. (Joshua 7:1-26)
So are many in the church today. They are looking for God, but they still go on touching cursed things, things that are found in the world. (1 John 2:15)
God wants to bless you, but He wants it completely. (Deuteronomy 6:5)
Have time with God, and be victorious! (Matthew 6:6)
