"Rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn to the Lord your God, for he is merciful, and merciful, and slow to anger, and great in kindness, and repents of evil."

Joel 2:13

This text of the word of God is very interesting. Here it reflects what has happened to some people today.

Many give themselves body and soul to the ministry. Others even cry to burn a cd to get into the media. Others even invite themselves to go preach in churches.

Look, God isn't looking at your talent, your ministry, your intelligence... He wants you to tear your heart out and give yourself totally to Him. (Deuteronomy 6:5)

It's no use fully dedicating yourself to your ministry or gifts. You need to take your ministry, and your gifts, put down your life with God! (Galatians 2:19:20)

First you have intimacy with God, and the result of that reflects on your ministry and gifts, then you can start ministering in people's lives. (Matthew 6:6)

Ministry and gifts is a blessing! If one day you are a great preacher of the word or record a cd to take the gospel, it will be a blessing. But none of this replaces your life with God.

God bless you!
