"And no one puts new wine in old skins, for the new wine will break the skins; the wine will be spilled, and the skins will spoil. On the contrary, new wine must be put in new skins [and both are preserved].
Luke 5:37-38
Wine in the Bible represents joy. Many are saddened by struggles and tribulations. But the Bible tells us that the joy of the Lord is our strength! (Nehemiah 8:10)
This joy comes from the Lord. If we stop to think, every time Jesus rejoices in the Church, He comes and strengthens us.
But God needs new vessels, because the new wine expands the vessel. If it is old, when it expands, it breaks.
But the word says that we are vessels in the hand of God. (Jeremiah 18: 1-17) If we let God break us and make us a new vessel, we will soon receive the new wine!
God has plenty of new wine to pour. Do you want to be a new vase?!
