"But Moses gave no inheritance to the tribe of Levi; the LORD God of Israel is their inheritance, as he had already told them."
Joshua 13:33
In this passage, God was setting apart the inheritances for the 12 tribes. God set aside land, cattle, gold, and a few other things for 11 tribes. But for the tribe of Levi, He prepared the best inheritance: He was giving Himself to the tribe of Levi!
Everyone certainly has some inheritance to receive, it could be money, a gift, or something like that... But God has prepared the best for you! He's giving himself to you. This heritage no one can steal, no one can touch, no one can experience. It's something very special, where the only person who can stop you from receiving is yourself! (Matthew 6:6; Revelation 3:20)
God only wants one thing from us: our heart! (1 Samuel 16:7)
Maybe you are expecting something from God. But He has something special for you, as we are descendants of the tribe of Levi. Receive the Lord into your life, and the rest will overtake you. (Matthew 6:33; Deuteronomy 28:1-14)
