"...And when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, This is my body which is for you; do this in remembrance of me. covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me. "

1 Corinthians 11:2425

Holy Supper is a covenant that our Lord Jesus made with the disciples. We need to understand what this means in our lives.

Covenant is much more than attending church supper on Sunday. The interesting thing that the Lord made the supper only with the disciples. What does that mean? The disciples were the people closest to Jesus. Those who participate in the supper are those who are intimate with Jesus!

Look how interesting the Bible reports: "Let the man examine himself, and thus eat the bread and drink the cup. Because of this there are many among you weak and sick, and many who sleep. " (1 Corinthians 11: 28-30) Whoever cannot discern the supper, that is, understand, has a great chance of becoming sick, weak and may even die (sleep).

When we go to supper, we are renewing our covenant with the Lord, but that covenant is a covenant of intimacy. The Lord is calling us into an intimate relationship.

God bless you!
